BUY MY STUFF

BUY TENILLE ON ITUNES! DO IT! C’MON, DO IT!

In the next few weeks (I’m getting married October 6th, so I’ll probably not do it before then… lots to do still!), I’m going to be changing the format of howdoesitknow.com. I’m thinking it will be more of a blog and less of a music site, probably run with Wordpress.

I’ll still feature my music here, but lately, the main project I’ve been writing songs for is my band, the Low hello. Please check out the band site for new music news with the band. We’ve also been playing a lot of shows, so those dates/places are posted there too. Come out and see us!

Also, for the most part, I’m selling the remaining copies of the Tenille EP through CD Baby. I did this so that I could in addition get digital distribution, so the EP will be available via iTunes and other digital music sites very soon. The CD Baby link for the EP is http://cdbaby.com/cd/sunil. I’ll still take some orders via paypal here if you absolutely need to, but I’ve only got a few copies on hand.

Anyway! That’s about all for now. Check out the Low hello site and check back here in the next couple weeks for the new site! Thanks.

1) The show went great! Thanks to everyone that set it up and came out to see us and the other great bands.

I’ve got some pictures and mp3s from the show here. I’d write more about the show, but a wave of sleepiness has hit me.

Overall it was a great experience and it was very very fun playing with Dan on drums. It’s made me very enthusiastic about what lies ahead as far as shows…

2) A new SONG OF THE MONTH is available NOW! It’s called ‘Recess’.

In the near future, I’m going to be working on consolidating all my SOMs to howdoesitknow.com, so everything will be easier to get to. Not now though. For now, there is too much other stuff to do.

Also, December’s (next month) will probably be the last real SOM for a while. I’m planning to dedicate more time to extending/rewriting/etc some of the best ones for a high-quality recording. We’ve already played some of the better ones live (which can be listened to at the link in item 1, but I already mentioned that in item 1. Did you read item 1? Are you reading this?).

3) The Tenille EP is still available, and now only for $5. Times are tough, I realize. Enjoy the dollar. Enjoy Tenille.

4) So, the right hand side of this webpage has gotten ridiculously long, hasn’t it? And the left side has stayed exactly the same. I didn’t really think I’d ever write this much, but I guess I have, and the design is kinda screwy now. I could say that I meant to do that as sort of a statement on constant vs. variable, but I didn’t. Hey! If anyone wants to offer me free web design, that’d be great! Or cheap. Say, $25. Lemme know.

5) Thanks for reading and listening. Much appreciated.

Just picked up the CDs last night, and they look and sound good. I’ll be packing them up tonight, and mailing them out tomorrow morning. Thanks to everyone that’s ordered one so far! Be sure to tell anyone that might enjoy it as well… Thanks again. I’ll email you once I’ve shipped your copy!

This is my first ever release for sale. It’s called Tenille, and contains 5 tracks of indie-pop awesomeness written by me, and performed by myself and the great local band, Tenley. Thanks Tenley.

I’ve made an initial run of 50 copies, so get one soon. As of now, the CDs are scheduled to be ready by Monday (8/1), and I will probably wait to see what orders trickle in initially and then go to the post office to mail them all on Thursday (8/4). They are $6 each, and that includes shipping! I think you’ll find it’s well worth the money.
