Today, I’m spending the day with Visual Studio 2005, programming a tool for work. The tool is in the form of a full fledged Windows forms application, which I haven’t done anything serious with in a long long time. But I’ve gotta say, I’m kind of enjoying it. I’ve been doing web app stuff for so long now. It’s a nice change of pace, for sure. And the tool is an interesting project. AND I really like working with C#. AAAAND, Visual Studio 2005 (to me anyway) is a great improvement over the last version. I like the ability to open up an XML document in a mini browser during debugging to peek at its contents. Anyway…

I also got a filling today. It went very smoothly. The left upper side of my mouth is a bit numb still, but all in all, a very uneventful easy thing. It’d been years since I’d gotten one, and I wasn’t sure what to expect.

That’s all I’ve got for now. Gonna be a busy week getting this tool thing done. Band practice tomorrow, show this Saturday. Mark your calendars.
