Hey everyone! Our first show with the bassist went very well, and we got some good feedback and met some good people. Maybe those good people will set up good shows with us and we will have a good time.

Also, my name is damn hard to spell. Not for ME. That’d be weird. But for others. It’s almost ridiculous how many different ways I’ve seen my name in print. Nil Sawan, Sunil Suwani, Neil Fawani, the list goes on. So, to further our chances of people actually remembering the name of that sweet-ass band they saw the other night (and now that I’ve got drums and bass behind me and the Power of Collaboration ™), we’re thinking about band names. It’s hard. It’s like, “What random collection of words do I want to attach to the act of me and these other guys playing music?”. I’ve never been good at that. I’m interested in any suggestions you may have (serious OR silly). While they probably won’t be used, it might spark some brainstorming…

Well, that’s all I’ve got for now. OH! Yeah, I’m probably putting Song of the Month on hold FOR REAL this time… I’ve been working on demos for an EP I’m planning, as well as working out the new songs for the live set, plus I have a pretty intense programming job, so it’s been hard to keep up. If I get the inspiration to do one sometime, but I’m just warning you they won’t be like clockwork like before.
